Moving from Calgary to the east coast has been a great experience for Lisa. One of Lisa’s dreams in life was to one day open a Yoga studio,  shortly after moving to Moncton that dream came true and she opened Bodywise yoga studio.

Lisa’s classes are vibrant, flowing, inspirational and down to earth. She embodies a deep sense of intuitive awareness, as an instructor, and is responsive to her students in a way that communicates compassion, peace, and happiness. She has been practicing yoga for 14 years, has a strong background in gymnastics, and has been a certified yoga instructor for 9 years.

Over the years she has enjoyed the opportunity to practice a rich variety of yoga styles, including, Ashtanga, vinyasa flow, kundalini, iyengar, and Yin. She believes in the importance of having many different teachers and an open mind. One of Lisa’s dreams is to see as many people practicing yoga as possible, because she knows how much it has improved her quality of life, thought her how to live more consciously, and would love to see everyone experience the healing art of yoga.

In the spring of 2005 Beth traveled to Montreal ʼs Palm Lotus School of Thai Yoga Massage where she completed two levels of Ayurveda and Thai Yoga Massage Therapy; a passive form of yoga which also includes acupressure, and massage.  It was through this course that Beth was lead to a deeper practice of Yoga for herself which then lead her to take her 200 hrs Yoga Teacher Training in Ashtanga Style which she completed in April of 2007.  She also completed her Pre-Natal Yoga Teacher Training in May of 2008.  She has been teaching at Body Wise Yoga Studio since May of 2007.

Beth enjoys working with and teaching the anatomy of massage and yoga, as well as helping people cultivate the peace that we all have inside.  “It is about connecting the mind, the body and the spirit, a lot of people do not live in that harmony.  Once that happens we are capable of handling stress both physically and mentally and we can enjoy our lives in balanced way.”

Sarah Smith

Originally from Moncton, NB. I have spent the last three years travelling and studying yoga in British Columbia; I studied Ashtanga Yoga in Nelson and then lived at Yasodhara Ashram for seven months, completing a dynamic Yoga Development Program.

My teaching background includes chair yoga for seniors, workshops for youth and adult classes for all levels. I was a resident hatha yoga teacher at Yasodhara Ashram

I am certified to teach in the Yasodhara style, an approach to yoga that focuses on individual body awareness, breath-work and yoga as a tool for self-development and awareness. I also practice Ashtanga and Vinyasa Flow and incorporate both styles into my classes.

My background in theatre & passion for my own practice allow me to communicate the tradition of yoga effectively and safely, adapting classes to meet the needs of my students. In developing classes for all ages and levels I want to share yoga as practice to improve quality of life!

Sasha recieved certification through Margot McKinnon owner of Body Harmonics Pilates in Toronto.  In Classical Pilates classes the  focus is on deep core strength, proper alignment, awareness of the body, precise movement and recruiting the proper muscles for each exercise.

It is about working with the body not against it, quality of movement not quantity, and mind-body awareness. With pilates you will experience deep core strength and stability, increased mobility and flexibility, improved posture, a dynamic full body workout.

ErinErin (CYT) has been exploring yoga for over 14 years and is grateful for what she learns on and off the mat on a daily basis. She is thankful to all of her teachers, including Ruth Richmond, Shakta Kaur, and Doug Keller. Her uplifting and supportive classes help people to uncover their true selves and inner strength; acknowledging the light that resides in all of us. Classes emphasize cleansing the body, strengthening muscles and deeper tissues, balancing the glandular system, and revitalizing the nervous system.

Leave old habits behind and set a strong foundation so you can bloom with health and vitality! The body wants to heal and by deepening our connection between mind, body, and spirit we dissolve stress, tap into our own source of deep healing, and have fun along the way. “You owe it to yourself to be yourself.” Yogi Bhajan
